Nearly 10 years since it closed to the public the Carnegie building that housed the Erith library and museum is under going a programme of repair and renewal that will secure the long term future of this iconic building.  We are working closely with the London Borough of Bexley and the Greater London Authority to deliver a building and a programme that is creative, collaborative and accessible placing the old library back at the heart of the community.  Phase I of the project is funded by London Borough of Bexley and the Greater London Authority. The London Borough of Bexley and The Exchange are seeking further funds to complete the design vision.
