Erith Lighthouse

Come and enjoy Erith’s riverside this summer. The Lighthouse is an extraordinary destination for the community that will bring the town back to the Thames and give space to season of food, exploration and play.

Across August and September 17 chefs will host 17 dinners at Erith Lighthouse, creating distinct menus inspired by Erith’s unique riverside location on the border of London and Kent. Each dinner will be a celebration and fusion of London’s exciting food culture and this area’s agricultural heritage. To book for the dinners, follow this link.

Alongside the dinners, there is a six-week programme of family-friendly events, some of which the exchange is presenting. Details of the exchange events below.

Devised and programmed by DK-CM and The Decorators, Erith Lighthouse is commissioned by the London Borough of Bexley and funded by the Mayor’s London Regeneration Fund as part of Bexley’s Greater Erith Programme that is aimed at reactivating the town centre and making the most of Erith’s unique setting by the River Thames.

How do we bring Erith's market back?

The community has long hoped for the return of Erith's historic market. But how do we bring it back and make sure it is a success and unique to Erith? The Exchange is inviting local residents and businesses to Erith Lighthouse to discuss this subject and to meet a number of new local craft makers who will be showcasing and selling their products. Come down and add your voice to the argument.

This event will take place in Erith Ligthouse terrace. The cafe will be operating if you would like some food.
