REPAIR + REWEAR

TACKLING TEXTILE WASTE TOGETHER

REPAIR + REWEAR IS A COMMUNITY INITIATIVE BASED IN ERITH THAT TACKLES TEXTILE WASTE. WE DO THIS THROUGH:

1.     A COMMUNITY REPAIR SERVICE

Pay a subsidised rate for us to repair your well-loved clothing.

2.     LEARN-TO-REPAIR WORKSHOPS

Learn the skills to repair your own clothes. Keep an eye on The Exchange’s programme for the next session.

3.     TEXTILE TEXTS – FREE REPAIR COMMISSIONS

Submit your item’s story, and it may be selected for a full larger scale repair free of charge. These items will be exhibited and their stories told. See below for how to apply.

4.     REUSING DONATED, PRE-LOVED ITEMS TO TEACH SKILLS

We take donations of good quality clothing, fabrics, threads etc. and use them to teach skills or turn them into new pieces to be loved.

Explore our brochure for how the repair service works:

Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the work involved.

The best thing to do is get in touch with us to discuss a repair and budget. For contact information, see below.
