The Old Library

A new chapter...

the exchange is working with London Borough of Bexley and the Greater London Authority to repair and renew the Old Carnegie Library as a new space for creativity and community. Once renewed the building will be a space to remember old stories of Erith, record new ones and where together a new vision for the town can develop.

Robin Lee Architects have been appointed to develop a vision for the building that includes much-needed repair work, access improvements and renewal of spaces to support income-generation that will ensure the Old Library has a sustainable future.

Phase I of the project is due to commence at the end of 2017.
