BENEATH THE MULBERRY TREES
The Mulberry Room and Ceramics Workshop open on to a brick and gravel terrace shaded by two sprawling mulberry trees, rumoured to have been part of the garden of Walnut Tree House, which occupied the site prior to the construction of Erith’s original library and town hall.
Before these wonderful trees come into leaf, the bank beneath becomes a floral tapestry of spring bulbs and woodland perennials, before becoming a quieter green carpet in summer.
The Mulberry Bank Patron will support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of this space, and will be recognised for 5 years for their contribution.
