WORKSHOP: Candle Holder Making (SATURDAY)

TWO HALF-DAY WORKSHOPS - SATURDAY 15 & 22 NOVEMBER, 10am - 1pm

-

Join ceramicist Merissa Hylton for a workshop, split over two Saturday mornings, at which you will make a candle holder which will be used as part of The Exchange’s festive illuminations.

These workshops are free as you will be participating in one of our community making projects, where participants can learn craft skills alongside others in the community whilst making things ‘For Community Use’ or ‘For Sale for Community Benefit’.

The hand-made candle-makers will become a key part of a major community decorating programme, where our main space will be illuminated and decorated with paper craft and natural foliage for the festive period.

To join these workshops, please contact Peter at: peter@theexchangeerith.com. Please make sure you are able to make both sessions before booking.

-

These workshops are part of the Leaves Fall in Bright Sound programme, which is in turn part of Night Visions — an Arts Council-supported initiative led by the Bexley Culture Network, of which The Exchange is a proud member.
