Help Shape Erith’s Future

HELP SHAPE ERITH'S FUTURE - ART AND CLIMATE WORKSHOPS

INVITING LOCAL RESIDENTS, SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY GROUPS, YOUTH ORGANISATIONS, AND FAITH COMMUNITIES TO BE PART OF THE CHANGE.

Join us for a series of 4 creative workshops where we will explore local environmental issues together and turn our ideas into a community mural. Working with climate educator, Sammantha Mason, and artist, Danni Miles, participants will learn, share ideas, and help design artwork that reflects what matters to our neighbourhood. The final mural will be displayed locally, celebrating our shared vision for a cleaner, greener future.

These workshops are a chance for communities to reflect on how climate change and environmental degradation impacts their everyday lives and what avenues and tools are available for them to combat that. Through a comprehensive co-creation methodology you will work with experts to understand these concerns at a deeper level, visualise what your collective goals as a community are in the form of a mural design and lay down the foundation for a more comprehensive local climate action campaign.

Come solo or with friends - no experience needed and all materials will be provided. The workshops are open to all and child-friendly, although we do ask that under16s are accompanied by an adult.

FREE | Book your spot!

We encourage people to be part of the entire process but you are welcome to join whichever session(s) you can:

Friday 24 July, 1pm - 4pm · Saturday 25 July, 11am - 2pm · Friday 31 July, 1pm - 4pm · Saturday 01 August, 11am - 2pm

These workshops are part of Cleaner, Greener East London — a community-led campaign bringing people together across East London to take action on environmental challenges through creativity, learning, and community action. By taking part, you are helping shape a greener future not just for your neighbourhood, but for communities across the region.
