TOGETHER FOR ERITH.

THE ERITH TOWN PARTNERSHIP IS A GROUP OF ORGANISATIONS INTERESTED IN ERITH + ITS FUTURE

  • We are a group of diverse businesses, charities and local projects that deliver our work within Erith Town Centre.

We are made up of different sector organizations including retail, leisure, culture, hospitality, faith, heritage, voluntary, housing, green spaces, health and the local authority.

We recognize this diversity of experience, knowledge and voice as a key strength of our partnership.

As a partnership, we serve the Erith community, identifying and tackling challenges in creating a thriving town together.

  • Our collaborative goals are to:

    1. Protect and enhance what makes our town. This includes access to the river, our green spaces, heritage buildings, as well as the diversity of the offer for people from different backgrounds.

    2. Produce a sustainable and successful town-wide programme of events, that showcases the diversity of Erith, its people, its buildings and sites, its businesses and groups, including our annual ERITH MADE festival.

    3. Ensure Erith is promoted in full, celebrating the incredible work of all partners and ensuring people hear about it.

    4. Ensure that town regeneration work supports and does not hinder our ambitions for the town, in particular around inclusion and our spaces and places.

  • We recognize that we as a diverse group of different organizations, we work differently. But as a partnership we are committed to working together in the following way:

Collaboratively. We commit to working together, sharing skills, knowledge and opportunities. We also commit to working in a way that listens to and recognizes all views and as a group come to a shared way forward in benefit of Erith.

Respectfully. Each member of the group has something to offer the partnership. We work together to identify where we can each help and recognize each other for the help that we give.

Mutual benefit. The work of the group should always benefit Erith. But it should not negatively impact on the running of any organizations within the group. All members should be free to participate – or not – in the Partnership if it feels that the work is at odds with the organization’s own ethos.

Forward looking. We respect Erith’s past, but look to the future, finding sustainable solutions that make things better for residents and visitors.
