Our ‘Little Book Stop’ is a community resource for sharing stories. It was installed in September 2025 as part of Penguin’s 90 Little Book Stops project, and The Exchange was selected from over 2,000 applications. It has been a joy to see so many people using it!

During our ERITH MADE & Heritage Open Day festival event, the Book Stop will be expanding into a pop-up book corner, so be sure to come by, browse the collection, take a book or leave a book.

This event is free however we ask you to consider making a purchase from the Garden Room Shop + Coffee Bar or perhaps a small donation if you can to support The Exchange in keeping these community events accessible for everyone.
